Five for Friday - March 22

Happy Friday everyone!  I've been on Spring Break, so this last week has been sooooo nice!  This was exactly what I needed to get out of a funk I've been in lately.  I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for her weekly Five for Friday.

Since I'm on Spring Break, I'm going to share with you guys how I've spent the last week.  We've been in Hawaii for 3 months, but I honestly feel like I haven't been able to enjoy it until this week.  As soon as we arrived, we were slammed with looking for a house, job hunting, and getting settled in.  Then I started work right away, and it's been very exhausting.  I needed this break for a lot of reasons!

Here's some of my past week.

1.  First thing to do was get stocked up with some good reading material.  I've read 2 books (Daddy Love and Collateral), and I'm almost done with Something Wicked).  Daddy Love was disturbing.  It wasn't necessarily bad but too disturbing (kidnapping, child abuse, etc.).  I don't recommend it.  Collateral was really good if you like Ellen Hopkins style of writing (poems).  It's about a girl's relationship with a Marine as he goes through deployments.  I could definitely relate to parts of the book and felt like she did a great job.  I'm almost done with Something Wicked, so I'll hold judgement till I get done.

2.  This is how I've been spending my days!

3.  Everyone wears collared shirts to the beach, right?

4.  This might be my MOST favorite picture of me and the triplets ever, even if Brody's not smiling.

5.  I got to hang out with some other awesome Hawaiian bloggers!  This is Nicole from Teaching With Style and Corinna from Surfin' Through Second.   Such a great time visiting, eating pupus, and having drinks!

I have a whole other week of Spring Break left and lots of stuff planned for the next week.  Make sure you check back next week to see some more pics as we play tourist here in Hawaii.

    1. This is the beach in Kailua less than a mile from our house. People bring their surf boards there and surf all the time. Maybe we should do a North Shore beach day and a Kailua beach day? That would be fun! The kids could boogie board together.

    1. Thanks so much! I do like but don't like that I have to dry and style it every day. That's the only downside to short hair. Sometimes I wish I could just throw it in a ponytail and go.

  6. We have pictures of my father, climbing the Sleeping Bear sand dunes, and then standing on the shore of Lake Michigan wearing a button-down dress shirt :) Embrace the collared shirt...maybe he'll grow up to be a banker like my wonderful dad.

  7. Awe, I did not know you had triplets! I used to babysit for triplet boys...it was a ton of work. Almost as hard as managing a class of 25! That is so cool that you ladies all live in Hawaii and so nice that you all met up.

  15. So, I was in the process of rebuilding my credit. I was in the upper 500’s and after a lot of research I decided to go ahead and take a chance at contacting PINNACLECREDITSPECIALIST@GMAIL.COM even though many people didn’t believe in credit repair companies. I am a living witness that contacting PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST will raise your credit score. I am now at 802, 7 collections have been deleted. Good luck to anyone going down the same road I am. 16. I got an email from Experian saying my score went up, so I decided to check my scores on Credit Karma and my scores has dropped 56 points from 600 to 544. I went to check what happened and there’s no changes listed. Now I just feel defeated. I just don’t want to bother anymore. I’ve been keeping my credit use under 30%, paying my card off every month, been setting all my bills up for auto pay. I’ve been trying so hard and it’s all for nothing. Thank to PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST who came through for me. I’ve been working so hard with them to rebuild my credit, and seeing that score goes up again, that made me so proud. Within 5 days of working with PINNACLE they increased my score to TU 819, EX 810, EQ 816. All negative items have been removed; credit card debt marked as paid on time. I sincerely recommend PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST to anyone out their who has similar issues with me. You can get them on: pinnaclecreditspecialist@gmail.com OR call them on +1 (585) 466 4373. Let them know Morton Howard, I referred you.

I had three evictions earlier this year which deprived me from purchasing an apartment for my family, and my other apartment was not conducive for my family anymore, but I couldn’t purchase any due to low credit score and my husband wasn’t working he had no job at the moment. So, I decided to meet my grandpa for a good hacker, because he’s credit score has been raised before by hacker and he referred me to PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST for help, he’s a very good person and he explained how the hack will be helpful to me and my greatest surprise, he increased my credit score to 805 excellent credit score and removed the eviction on my credit report without any remission during the hacking process. I just moved in my new apartment with my family and I have no affliction working with PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST.
